In some instances the product may vary slightly from the image shown on the website. Reasons include but are not limited to the manufacturer updating or improving the appearance of the packaging or product without informing us, possible natural variations in colour, and the conditions at the time of photography and the setup and model of your monitor.
All sizes are overall and measurements are approximate although we do try to ensure they are as accurate as possible.
Some of the products we sell such as fencing and screening are natural products made using traditional techniques. Please do not assume that they will have the precision or consistency of machine-made products.
We make every effort to ensure that all our plants are of the highest quality and are fully inspected and properly plant passported and registered and regularly inspected by DEFRA prior to dispatch. If however you feel that the plant received is not in reasonable condition then please contact us IMMEDIATELY. Please bear in mind the following:
Is it in season? Plants will look different depending on the time of year. Out of season plants may be very bare in winter periods
The images on the site are generally of a mature plant; what you ordered is a bare root or young potted plant which by their very nature are immature.
Please download and read our free guide to hedges and planting before buying your plants so that you have all the information and instructions on how to plant and care for your order.
It is essential that bare root plants are not left out in the open before planting as the roots will be damaged so ensure only one plant at a time is removed from the bags they are sent in and planted right away. Similarly, if there is hot dry weather then the plants must be watered regularly.
DO NOT open up the plastic bags your bare root plants are kept in to keep them moist until you are ready to plant.
We will refund or replace any plants that die once planted within 30 days unless it is clear that the cause is from lack of watering.
It’s important that you take an image of plant as soon as possible so there is no doubt as to its condition when it was received. We may request the plant is returned to us for further investigation so we can establish the cause of the problem.
We endeavour to offer the best possible customer service. In the unlikely event that you have a complaint we operate a complaint handling procedure to resolve any disputes once they first arise. Please contact us with any complaints or comments that you may have by email at email@example.com or by phone on 01420 768242.
If you have any questions, complaints or would like some advice you are most welcome to contact us and we will endeavour to reply within 24 hours.
