Hypericum Hedging is fast growing. It is used as a stand- alone shrub, single species hedge or as part of a mixed floral hedge.

Product Details

Hypericum is a fast-growing shrub which soon clumps up by sending out runners. Delightful open yellow flowers are loved by bees and pollinating insects. In addition it provides a super habitat for birds and garden animals.

Used to form a pretty ground cover. But it is especially good at stopping soil erosion on banks or slopes.

All you need to do is simply choose the height of the plants you want to plant now and the number of plants you need.

We recommend 5 plants per metre in a double zig-zag row for a thick hedge, but you can get away with 3-4 per metre in a staggered row if you don’t mind waiting an extra year or two to form a thick hedge.

Keep them well watered – especially in the Spring and Summer in the first year of planting. If you are not sure how many plants you need or which varieties suit your garden please just contact or call us and we will be happy to offer friendly advice!
